João Pedro has emerged as a high-profile target for Premier League rivals Chelsea and Newcastle United following a breakout season at the Amex. The 22-year-old Brazilian scored 20 goals in all competitions during 2023–24 and caught the eye with his flair, movement, and clinical finishing.

Despite only joining us from Watford a year ago for a club-record £30 million, João Pedro's performances have reportedly attracted interest from top-six sides looking to bolster their attacking options. Chelsea (as always) and Newcastle are both said to be weighing up bids in excess of £40 million (Ha-Ha), with the Albion standing firm on their valuation.

We are known for their sharp recruitment and player development, will likely demand a significant profit if they are to part with the talented forward. While the Seagulls would prefer to keep João Pedro, especially under new head coach Fabian Hürzeler, a substantial offer could prompt negotiations.

Pedro remains under a long-term contract and is currently in pre-season training with Brighton. His future may depend on the level of interest and the Seagulls' plans for the upcoming campaign.
